Support the Wadsworth Football (Art Wright) Stadium Renovation

The Wadsworth Stadium Fund in association with the Wadsworth All-Sports Booster Club is trying to raise $350,000 to replace the current field at Art Wright Stadium field with synthetic turf.   As you probably know, the condition of the field is very currently poor and the entire community is trying to make this happen before next football season.  Although there have been no specific commitments, there's a good chance that some of the Wadsworth Youth Football games will be able to be played on the new field this coming season if we're able to get the new turf down.  

We have attached a brochure and a pledge form for more information and there are several pledge levels to choose from.  Every pledge dollar counts at this stage and if you can pledge $50 a year for five years, that would be very helpful to reaching the goal.  If you can afford more, that would be all the better.  Over $320,000 has been raised already which is over 90% of the total goal, however the last 10% will be the hardest to get and needs to be pledged by May 30, 2012.

2012 Wadsworth High School Coaches' Youth Football Camp

For Children Entering Grades 3-7 in Fall, 2012

June 4-7, 9:00 - 11:30am at Fieldcrest

The Wadsworth High School football coaching staff is extremely excited to have the opportunity to run a youth football camp this year. We feel that this will allow for individualized instruction and fundamental development. Campers will be coached by current Grizzly coaches and players. Fundamental development will focus on the areas of stance, starts, alignments, and techniques for both offensive and defensive positions. At the end of the camp, each camper will receive a Wadsworth football t-shirt.

ELIGIBILITY

2012 Eligibility Requirements

Flag Football - Must be at least 4 years old and no older than 8 years old on August 1st, 2012

Tackle Football – Must be at least 7 and not older than 13 on August 1st, 2012
(*150 pound weight restriction for football players entering 7th & 8th Grade and all 13 year olds - no weight restriction for 6th Grade and younger)

Cheerleading – Must be at least 7 and not older than 13 on August 1st 2012
Cheer Mascots must be at least 5 but not older than 6 on August 1st 2012

REGISTRATION FEES

Tackle Football & Cheerleading - $105 by July 24th ($125 after July 24th)
Flag Football - $ 70 by July 24th ($80 after July 24th)
4 Year Old Flag Football - $ 55.00 by July 24th ($65 after July 24th)
