Support the Wadsworth Football (Art Wright) Stadium Renovation
The Wadsworth Stadium Fund in association with the Wadsworth All-Sports Booster Club is trying to raise $350,000 to replace the current field at Art Wright Stadium field with synthetic turf. As you probably know, the condition of the field is very currently poor and the entire community is trying to make this happen before next football season. Although there have been no specific commitments, there's a good chance that some of the Wadsworth Youth Football games will be able to be played on the new field this coming season if we're able to get the new turf down.
We have attached a brochure and a pledge form for more information and there are several pledge levels to choose from. Every pledge dollar counts at this stage and if you can pledge $50 a year for five years, that would be very helpful to reaching the goal. If you can afford more, that would be all the better. Over $320,000 has been raised already which is over 90% of the total goal, however the last 10% will be the hardest to get and needs to be pledged by May 30, 2012.
